As a photographer, there are two things we pray for on shoot days at the dunes: no wind and no footprints.
Showing up and seeing footprints as far as the eye can see can be a bit of a downer. Although, nothing dampens a shoot like a ton of wind blowing everyone's hair around- It's just not a good time.
Luckily for Elizabeth and Brian, we happened to go on the most perfect day of the year, with no footprints, no wind, and absolutely perfect weather. We took the trek up to the dunes and perched ourselves on a high spot away from the other groups of people. Then, the magic happened.
We had tons of laughs and I could not stop obsessing about the dress Elizabeth wore. The red was just such a perfect pop against the sand and to top it off, the sunset was EPIC.
